kicking out transphobia
visual identity rebrand
This project reimagines the visual identity of Kicking Out Transphobia (KOT)—a community-led nonprofit organization centering transgender and gender-nonconforming individuals through the power of sport. Rooted in joy, connection, and resistance, KOT creates inclusive athletic spaces that uplift trans and nonbinary people while raising awareness about the challenges they face. From grassroots initiatives to international partnerships, KOT demonstrates that trans people belong everywhere—especially on the field.
The updated visual identity reflects KOT’s commitment to confidence, solidarity, and celebration—ensuring that every athlete, supporter, and partner recognizes the organization as a safe, affirming, and powerful presence in the world of sports. As part of this rebrand, I developed a complete visual system including a custom logotype, curated color palette, and a set of supporting icons to create a cohesive and recognizable brand language. The logo suite was designed for flexibility and impact, featuring three variations that can be used across print, digital, and clothing.
